Update on Denali - June 1, 5:30 PM

Greg Collins 5/21 Upper West Rib called in to say they were turning around...because they were at the summit of North America's highest peak at 4:44 PM. Matt and Helmut are doing well and Greg said, "They have a very good trail of breadcrumbs back to Hansel and Gretel's house."

Hobby's Norsk Team was just about 100 meters behind Greg headed to the summit.

We haven't heard from the other teams...but according to their schedule:

Falley 5/22: Rest day at 14K today and will move to 17K tomorrow.
McBrayer 5/23: Rest day at 14K today and will move to 17K tomorrow.
Team Spagnoli 5/24: same as above.
Russell Hunter 5/30: They should be camped at 11,000 feet.
