White Dog wants to know why all problems in the human world are fixed by handing out green paper. A new video card, a new keyboard and a backup cable on the wireless printer seem to have taken care of all the problems that plagued us yesterday with the exception of Blogger's continued inconsistency. "Money appeased the computer gremlins here," White Dog observed, "can't we send the Blogger flowers or chocolates or magneto bites or something to make them behave?" "Let's just run while the road is clear," I said cautiously. "Steve's home to troubleshoot, we have all this spiffy new updated stuff, we better get a post up before a meteor crashes into the monitor!" "Oh momma! I think dad has bought us a few days of trouble-free computer-ality!" "Knock on wood! You'll curse us!"

So for now we are up and running in true White Dog style. Woohoo! If I sound suspicious it is only because I have a true love/hate relationship with technology; I find it hard to really trust something that I cannot guilt into doing what I want.

White Dog, The Other White Dog, Another White Dog, Still Another White Dog, and Yet Another White Dog pooled their resources, as is the tradition to give Steve a new pup related T-Shirt for Father's Day. What do you think?

We all spent the day together and the WDA looked after Steve's every need. They watched the movie, Inception, with him (paws up). They rested. They played. They waited when he took necessary breaks. One or the other was at his side every moment. And that, he said as we turned out the light at the end of the night, was the best part of the day...all of us all the time.
