party time

It's been such a busy weekend. I had alterations to be done on my MOG suit and I'm busy looking for the right jewellery. I'm not the glamorous type but here's my opportunity to do it up and wear something shiny....sparkley....glittery...oh yah!
Riley turned 1 on Friday and the whole family enjoyed celebrating with her on Saturday afternoon.

Just look at the curls on her now. Just like her daddy when he was a year. She can light up any room, that
girl.

She'll be golfing with daddy now.

She had a blast!

The wedding is getting close and I am excited to see all my friends and family there. What can be more fun than a wedding? Well, maybe one where you don't have to give a speech (God help me) but this one will be fabulous and it is just around the corner. Woo...hoo!

My herbs are finally in the ground.

I decided to put them along the deck because the light is good there and they need lots of sun. Now, if I can just keep my 'helpers' from eating them.

Cute little pots they came in will be kept for seeds.

It is quiet this weekend for cat-sitting (only one home) so I really have to make use of my time getting the house cleaned and the yard prettied up. Next week gets busy again.

I can't wait to show you my new friend,  Butch. He's a Devon Rex.
