and that's that

Lots of gardening while the rain subsides and this morning, Gary and I drove to our property and laid Ginny to rest next to Maggie & Sassy.
The collie statue stands guard in front of what will be a proper little garden for them someday.
The little grave-site is along our stone wall. I plan to paint their names on rocks someday soon.

More tears, more rip-at-the-gut feelings but it is now done and her memories I will cherish.
If she was sent here to give love and just be the sweetest cat on earth, she did her job. "Let's go, Bud."
The lilacs are in bloom out along the drive-way at our spot.

I sit here typing and if I look to the right her blanket lies there. I won't move that. I have tidied up her bowls and put them away. I have taken her kitty bed and placed it by the wood-stove for the others but this blanket will stay. Perhaps one of the other 4 cats will decide to join me in my office and become my daily blogging buddy. I hope so.

hugs, Deb
