"Thanks kids....Love you!"
Right after breakfast it was off to kitty-sit. Cats don't care if it's Mother's Day....they're hungry.
Everywhere I go to cat-sit I am greeted by not only the cats but all the preparation made by clients for the summer ahead. The grounds are dug up, the potting soil bags are out, the decks are cleaned and set up for entertaining and the wildflowers are in full bloom. This is my favorite time to cat-sit next to Christmas. The colours of green are abundant. And I do love the white flowers.
The cats are all so picturesque before they lose their winter coats.

There is lots of shedding of the coats now in preparation of the lighter, spring coat. I carry with me many different combs and use whatever one seems to suit the cat. There really isn't one specific comb that I recommend although I use a flea comb often.
If I want to relax I groom a cat. I used to listen to music, meditate, have hot bathes, go for long walks and all these things were great but to really relax, I comb a cat.
Grooming every day is essential now so the long-haired cats don't get matted. Best to prevent it rather than have to shave the cat.
Back home....all is calm
Seems like the ol' ones are too tired to even shed today.
