Pfc. Rudy A. Acosta, aged 19, from Santa Clarita, California, died 19th March 2011 in Kandahar province, Afghanistan, from wounds suffered when he was allegedly shot with small arms fire by an individual from a military security group.
He was a Combat Medic, assigned to the 4th Squadron, 2nd Stryker Calvary Regiment, Vilseck, Germany.He deployed to Afghanistan in June 2010.
