U.S Army Private first-class Dustin J. Feldhaus, aged 20 from Glendale, Arizona was killed on 29th March 2011 during a battle with enemy forces in Konar. Pfc. Feldhaus died at Bagram Airfield.
He was serving with the 2nd Battalion, 327th Infantry Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), based at Fort Campbell, Kentucky.
Pfc. Feldhaus joined the Army in September 2009 and transferred to Fort Campbell in January 2010.
His awards and decorations include National Defense Service Medal, Afghanistan Campaign Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Army Service Ribbon, NATO Medal and Combat Infantryman Badge.
