STOCKHOLM, Sweden--Former University of Washington standout Ingvill Måkestad (left/photo courtesy runingvill.wordpress.com) broke her own Norwegian national record in the 1500 meters at Tuesday night's running of the XL Galan indoor meeting at Ericcson Globe Arena.
Måkestad finished ninth in 4:08.65 in a very competitive race won by Ethiopia's Abeba Arigawi in a 2011 world leading time of 4:
