White Dog, The Other White Dog and Still Another White Dog want to thank everyone who left kind words and happy messages for their sister, Nuka's Birthday Yesterday. Your response brought tears to Another White Dog who was overwhelmed by all of the love sent her way.
Nuka and I tallied up the comments: 86 yesterday, 7 from the announcement, and 5 from our Facebook link to the blog...a total of 98 terrific wishes! Thanks to White Dog and Quinn's offer to double the comment value to fifty cents, we are making a donation of $49.00 to ERU, Eskie Rescuers United, the wonderful folks who saved and fostered AWD (aka Angel) until we found each other.
But, there is more good news: Princess KeKe and her fantastic family have offered to match our donation with one of their own in honor of Nuka Angel Marie and The White Dog Army...how generous and big-hearted is that? So ERU will end up receiving $98.00!
As I type this White Dog and Puff come up and paw at the special credit card drawer on the computer desk...I look at them and KNOW what they are getting at. "OK, $98.00 is silly, let's just add two more dollars and make it an even $100.00!"
