Aloe Vera & the Cat House on the Kings (on TV Feb. 12th)

I love to have the Aloe Vera plant near-by but when not in use it is kept up high on a shelf.
I have used it on my family and my pets. Mostly the kids when they were at home.
When you have 5 or 6 female cats in the house there will be a few scraps once in awhile.

This plant does miracles on those little boo-boos and the scratch will heal up in no time.
BUT......do not let the cat or dog eat this plant.
This plant contains a chemical called saponins and is dangerous to your pets health.
Just keep it out of reach but do use it on scratches that they cannot lick or cover the scratch after applying. You may need to use a victorian collar on your cat while the wound is healing so it cannot lick the wound.

Aloe Vera is very good to apply to our skin just to sooth it or heal a wound. It is a Natural healer.

Awhile back, I posted about the Cat House on the Kings. To learn about them, see their website....http://www.cathouseonthekings.com/. I just received an email from them telling me that they will be featured on a new show premiering on Animal Planet called Must Love Cats, Saturday, February 12th. That's today so do check it out if you can. Please check out the Animal Planet website http://animal.discovery.com/tv/must-love-cats/episodes.htmlfor more information if you are interested in seeing this program.
