Isla Martillo
The goal is to travel the entire length of North and South America only by bus, van, and taxi. Last month, I completed the southern segment, from Lima, Peru, to Ushuaia, Argentina.
The South series will be a travelogue. It will cover the journey's highs, lows, and in-betweens. I will describe the sites I visited, the people I met, and I will offer interpretations of my experiences (historically, socioeconomically, geographically). And of course, there will be plenty of automobile coverage.
