"I see you on the bed...you're not fooling me"
Kane is waking for the second time this morning. You see, the old guy has his own bed on the floor next to ours but as soon as ours is 'free' he takes a flying leap and has another couple of hours of snoozin'. Poor 'ol guy doesn't know yet that we are leaving for Toronto tomorrow morning and he'll be cared for by the kids while we visit Gary's family for a few days. I hate leaving him but where we stay has dog-hating cats so no choice...."Sorry, Mister. You will be on duty to care for all the cats and guard the house."
Have a fun coupla days everyone. I'll be back to tell you how Gary's family prepares for Christmas. The ferals will be fed while I am away by a kind lady in town who always fills in for me if I travel. I have a large bag of shelled peanuts at the front door for the squirrels and birds that my daughter can throw out to them in the mornings.
I'm looking forward to visiting with Gary's sister who is the best cook I know. She also loves antiques, dishes and cats. Better bring my extra battery so I can dazzle you with pictures.
Have fun with all your preparations.
HUGS, DEB
