White Dog and The Other White Dog dashed to the door the minute Pumpkin pulled into the driveway. "Hey, what about the bags?" I asked as they both headed for the minivan to get settled for the long ride. "I'll get them," Steve reassured them as he came into the house to change and make a pit stop before we hit the road for the long drive to Dallas. "Knew you would handle it," White Dog said, "but be quick about it."

"You are so bossy," I told her as I took my seat. White Dog smugly arranged herself on her makeshift "throne" and Quinn hopped up on the way back seat. "We have a sister to pick up," The Other White Dog reminded us. "We don't want to keep her waiting...what would she think?" "Cool your jets, White Ones, Nuka won't be in Dallas until tomorrow so we will be there in plenty of time!"

"You saw her travel photos. They gave her a military haircut! It will take her years to look like a proper Eskie again. We have to get there to prevent anything else from happening to her!" White Dog was still horrified at the grooming Nuka had been subjected to and was not about to standby silently about it. "We will be there to meet her; and please don't make her feel self-conscious about how she looks. She has been through enough." WD's gentle brother intervened.

With that Steve and Michael got in and we started the car. "Head South!" Michael directed. The adventure was about to begin.
