Deep Blue Marine Inc. announced today that the company has returned to the site of a very significant historical shipwreck in the Dominican Republic.
The ship, which sank shortly after the beginning of the Colonial Period in the New World, was located and surveyed by the company earlier this year.
The continued survey and recovery is under the direction of Deep Blue Marine's staff archaeologist Alejandro Selmi, and is being conducted as a primary underwater archaeological site. This type of work requires careful planning and execution so that the value of the site is maintained.
Wilf Blum, President and CEO, stated, "As always, investing in this type of venture is very risky and no one should invest in this type of venture if they cannot safely tolerate that risk."
Journalists and individuals seeking interviews are encouraged to contact Mr. Randy Champion at Deep Blue Marine's head office in Salt Lake City, Utah phone 801-568-1873, cell 801-631-9104 or email at media@alldeepblue.com. All media will be directed through Mr. Champion.
