White Dog and I chatted with Cindy, our vet's Office Manager, outside at the car while Steve and Quinn went inside. Today our boy could finally have his stitches removed from the papilloma surgery done a few weeks ago. He was very good about not even trying to scratch and the healed results look good. It will, we all agreed, take some time before his luscious white fur is back to its full density there. This caused Michael some distress as he worried that Quinn would not look his best for the Christmas card photo; Steve has assured him that we will be sure to position The Other White Dog so that his hair disfigurement is hidden. Oddly, no one like my idea that we ALL shave irregular patches into our hair and fur so that TOWD not feel different.
Hopefully, now that Quinn is back to normal and White Dog has had her annual checkup with Dr. Julia, we will not be visiting the Office until we drop off their Christmas gift.
