IDF re-examining its rules of engagement with the Lebanese Armed Forces

In light of the cold-blooded murder of IDF Lt. Col. Dov Harari on the Lebanese border last week, the IDF is re-examining its rules of engagement with the Lebanese Armed Forces. The IDF has traditionally viewed the Lebanese army as a relatively neutral force that lacked the hostile intent of Hizbullah. But last week’s unprovoked attack on Israeli soldiers who were clearing a tree along the border,
