White Dog paced back and forth along the back seat of the car as Steve and Quinn went inside the vet's office. She could see them through the window but was disturbed by the visit and The Other White Dog's calm demeanor. "Is he going to be OK?" she asked. "The big stupid doesn't even look like he knows he is in the VET's !" "Firstly, that is no way to refer to your brother; secondly Dr. Julia just wants to take a look at those skin bumps on Quinn's shoulder, so there is nothing to worry about."

White Dog draped herself over the seat back and stared until she saw Dr. Julia. Then she dropped down and lay flat on the seat. "Don't let her see me!" White Dog whined. "I don't want to visit the vet!"

"Calm down, WD," I reassured. "Quinn and Steve are already coming out!" With that, Steve opened the door and helped TOWD inside. Then he got in the driver's seat. Both White Dog and I turned to look at him expecting a report. Quinn gave me a big kiss and then laid down on the seat.

"Dr. Julia says they look like fatty tumors but wants to remove them to be safe. He is scheduled to come back next Monday for the surgery." My concerns as I followed Phantom's experiences of the past few weeks prompted this visit. It had been my hope not to do surgery but rather to just do a needle biopsy but we have placed our trust in Dr. Julia for a long time and respected her opinion. We are pretty confident that these tumors are just fatty lumps but ... "I love you, Bro'" ...White Dog interrupted our train of thought...and she bumped his nose with hers before she hopped back in front to sit in my lap.
