White Dog is not a fan of loud booming thunder or pulsar bright lightning attacks. When a severe storm rolled through our neighborhood early this evening, the Little Miss became my Velcro puppy, clinging to me for reassurance and protection. She sat on my lap as I visited other blogs. She helped me practice making origami boxes. White Dog even insisted on being at my side (literally) when nature called. At one point as I cuddled her to me, I asked, "Do you think the storm is bothering your brother at all?" White Dog looked at the doorway and then back at me with a question in her eyes. "Quinn," I called and waited but got no response. "I guess he is OK with the rain."

Shortly after, White Dog and I heard Steve come in the front door. He was laughing as he rounded the corner into the hallway. "Quinn, your sister is going to be very unhappy if she sees you there!" he said over his shoulder...and TOWD trotted up behind him trying to look nonchalant.

"So where was our Big White One?" I pressed. "Curled up as comfy as could be in the momma chair!" was Steve's reply. "He was where?" White Dog yelped as she ran for the living room and leaped on the chair. "Consider it payback for your ditching me at brunch yesterday," TOWD snickered.
