Abu Mazen waits for quartet; Israel waits for US

There are apparently two sets of invitations that are to be issued on Monday to direct talks between Israel and the 'Palestinian Authority.' One will be issued by EU foreign policy chief Catherine Ashton on behalf of the 'quartet,' and that is the one to which the 'Palestinians' will reply.
