White Dog and Quinn both rushed to greet us when we returned from picking Michael up from his Animal Rescue Volunteer. We had stopped for dinner on the way back (introducing Michael to the swooning joys of Mexican seafood) and he carried a box of meal parts that he had saved "so Quinn and Siku would not feel left out." He told them of his afternoon and the strolling musician at the restaurant as they wolfed down (now we know why it is so named except in our house it is Eskied down) their South of the Border Fiesta.

And then he reached into his pack and coyly called White Dog to his side. "I have a present for you," he told her, "just because I love you!' And with that White Dog became the proud and possessive owner of her own C-A-T (hopefully Khyra won't be too jealous) that she can shake and toss and drag by its ear! Already she knows to bring Tigger when asked and Michael could not be more pleased by her response to his gift. She acknowledges she is one very lucky pup!
