News in today is that the ashes of Coronation Street cat Frisky fetched £700 at auction.I have two questions.
1. Who bought them?
2. Why?
The winning bid apparently came from a private buyer.
Frisky’s former owner John Rimington said: “I’m very pleased with the amount raised. I’ll be making a donation from the proceeds to my local Cats Protection charity which my family supported with Frisky making public appearances throughout the 10 years he was the Coronation Street cat.”
