None of us got much sleep the night before, mainly because we ended up with a very warm and muggy night but we were up early on Sunday morning to get over to the show and setup. It was the first time I'd done a show on my mown but it was all nice and easy, getting the gazebo up with a little help from my neighbours - Wiggle's vets!
It actually took less than an hour to get everything set up so we had a time before the public arrived to have a little walk around and see the minature ponies!
Once the show had opened to the public, Sofy and Wiggle took up their positions - on their bed that is in the car, placed in the shade for them:
Sofy decided she would provide some shade for Wiggle......
We had a really good day, raising a nice amount for Labrador Rescue and giving out lots of information about the charity. Wiggle was very good, but that's normal. Sofy did lots of shouting, not at anything in particular, just because she could. Eventually though, she wore herself out.
After a busy day, the show was coming to an end so we got ourselves packed up but before we left, Wiggle and Sofy got to have some Lab-time with their new friends, Labrador representatives from the Guide Dogs for the Blind, Monica and Lily:
Needless to say, after a long and hot day, we all slept well last night! This evening Wiggle was all boingy and daft again, clearly having spent most of his day sleeping.
We actually had a few spots of rain while we were having our walk across the field earlier, but it made a nice change to have a cooler evening, especially for Wiggle and Sofy. Now they've had a good run around, chased the tennis ball, chased each other, lost the ball, found the ball, played with 2 other dogs they met etc, both Wiggle and Sofy are crashed out......
