In My Mailbox (June 20, 2010)

The weekly In My Mailbox post is hosted by Kristi at The Story Siren. It is fun to see what everyone else gets in their mailboxes, shopping bags, and library visits. Click on the link to The Story Siren's site to see the rules and join in the fun.

I guarantee that your TBR pile will grow when you see all the cool books everyone gets. You will discover lots of wonderful blogs and lots of books that you won't be able to live without.

I had a pretty good week and managed to limit the number of books I bought.
I received Death Echo by Elizabeth Lowell through the LibraryThing Early Reviewers program. It was a great thriller. My review is here.

I also won The Time Weaver by Shana Abe in a contest. Somehow I have misplaced who I won it from but thank you very much. I had already purchased this book for my Kindle because I love Abe's dragon books.

I added a few books to my Kindle too.

I started to read the Red Rock Pass series by Moira Rogers on my Kindle and realized that I didn't have all of it. So I purchase book 4 - Sanctuary Unbound - and then also got a couple of short stories too. My review of the series is here.

I also bought Murder is Binding by Lorna Barrett. It is the first in a series. I heard about it when someone talked about a more recent book in the series. It sounded good and is suitably bookish.

The Weight of Shadows by Alison Strobel was a free offering this week in the Kindle Store. Who can pass up free?

Allegra Fairweather, Paranormal Investigator by Janni Nell sounded good too. Check out that product description at Amazon.

Personally, I am rather proud of the fact that only 4 of the 7 books I got this week are still on my TBR stack.

What was in your mailbox this week?
