I guarantee that your TBR pile will grow when you see all the cool books everyone gets. You will discover lots of wonderful blogs and lots of books that you won't be able to live without.
As usual, I added too many books to my TBR stack this week.
I added Blood Song by Cat Adams because I read many good things about it on a number of blogs.
I won All the Queen's Players by Jane Feather from Anna at Anna's Book Blog.
I entered a lot of contests to win Assassin's Honor by Monica Burns but didn't win any. So I bought my own copy.
Naamah's Curse by Jacqueline Carey is the second in the series. I really like Carey's rich historical fantasies and look forward to reading this one.
Bullet by Laurell K. Hamilton is the next in the Anita Blake series. I have been a long-time reader of the series. My thoughts are here.
Mouse and Dragon by Sharon Lee and Steve Miller is the latest in their Liaden Universe series. I have already ready the ebook twice and now can hold the actual book in my hands.
The Dragon Variation is a compilation of three other Liaden books - Local Custom, Scout's Progress, and
Conflict of Honors. It would be a great introduction to the Liaden Universe for new readers and was quite inexpensive. I already have other print editions and ebook additions of all of the books but wanted this to complete my set.
I also added some titles to my Kindle this week.
Shadow of Power by Steve Martini was free this week (but isn't free today). It is a political thriller which is a genre a like as a change of pace from all the paranormals I read.
I Love This Bar by Carolyn Brown was recommended on a blog I read. It is said to be an "amusing romance full of unpretentious rural charm".
Motor City Fae by Cindy Spencer Pape was also chosen because I read about it on someone's blog. The blurb reminds me a little of Mercedes Lackey's fae books.
A Cast-Off Coven and Secondhand Spirits by Juliet Blackwell were both recommended by Carolyn Crane (Mind Games). They sounded interesting.
Touched by an Alien by Gini Koch was also recommended on a blog I read.
Unsolicited: A Booklover's Mystery (Booklover's Mysteries) by Julie Wallin Kaewert was chosen because someone was talking about later books in the series. I thought I would give the first book a try.
It is becoming apparent to me that I need to stay away from other people's blogs until I get caught up with my own massive TBR stack. Or else, I should disable my one-click button at Amazon. I blame you, my fellow bloggers, for making all of these books sound so interesting.
