Native language in flight

Well, this isn't really news. Nor is it really Alaskan. But it is Native language. Specifically, Native language in the Alaska Airlines inflight magazine. Right there in the middle of the current issues is a full page advertisement for the Tulalip Casino which is headlined with the phrase haʔł ti adsłčil. I'm guessing this is Lushootseed, a Salishan language of the Puget Sound region, but our library unfortunately lacks a copy of the Lushootseed Dictionary (Bates 1994) so I'm unable to confirm. You can listen to Lushootseed phrases online and decide for yourself. Now I can't wait to see Alaska Native language in the Alaska Air magazine.
