The May 27 edition of the Tundra Telegraph featured a video interview with Laren Thomas, a non-Native teacher in Chevak who has learned Yup'ik (or should I say Cup'ik?) as second language. In the video, which appears in Yup'ik with English subtitles, Laren reflects on the process of learning Yup'ik and the reactions he receives as a second language speaker.
