I am so thankful for all the thoughtful comments on my last post. There is no doubt that all of my blogging friends who felt the need to express their feelings have experienced the love of an animal companion. I have allowed myself to bring closure, find acceptance & feel peace. Maggie was laid to rest on our property in Manotick under the apple trees. I placed a stone Collie dog at the foot of the tree to protect her. Her memory will always be with me. Rest in Peace, Mag.
