Russian archeologists have a strong intention to resume diggings in Novgorod Kremlin this summer.
Scientists plan to restart digging in Granovitaya Chamber, where previous two years of exploration resulted in over 1000 findings of enormous archeological value, including birch-bark manuscripts, coins and a beautiful carved lash grip, dating back to XII century.
Lack of funds stopped diggings, when researches reach most desirable layer of X-XI centuries, however, scientists hope that federal budget would assign funds to continue archeological exploration of the site.
