White Dog had a busy day teaching Quinn how to properly supervise a household project; and Quinn was a quick study! She began by barking as Adam pulled up into the driveway and got out of the car which summoned her "student," Quinn to her side where they stood blocking the doorway until Adam had properly petted each.
Adam had come by to help figure out how to turn the new replacement washer into the earlier stackable version which held the dryer on brackets. White Dog followed Adam out to examine the old set...and Quinn followed. She went out in the courtyard with Adam to check out the newer model...and Quinn followed. White Dog went out with Adam to his truck to gather tools...and Quinn waited inside the door (tail wagging) for their return.
Richard stopped by to pick up some spices and Adam enlisted his assistance in lifting and carrying the various machines. Both men, sweethearts that they are, decided to "get the job done" so Steve would not need to fuss later when he got home from work.
So, White Dog followed for a while then turned the "in your face" supervising over to Quinn as she watched from a comfy spot with a lofty overview. Every so often, she went outside or in the laundry area to make sure everyone was still on track only to discover "trainee" Quinn on the job, watching the workers intently and allowing no slacking. In the end, thanks to White Dog and her "staff," the job was successfully completed and we once again had a washing machine that did not clank and bang and squeal!
