Iran launches its first destroyer

Iranian television reported on Friday that Iran's first home-built destroyer was launched in the Arabian Gulf at a ceremony attended by Ayatollah Ali Khameni. "The first domestically made destroyer Jamaran was launched this morning and joined Iran's naval forces in the southern waters of the Persian Gulf," state television IRIB reported.
