High-ranking Lebanese officer charged with assisting Israel in Second Lebanon War

A Lebanese Lieutenant Colonel has been arrested and charged with aiding Israel during the Second Lebanon War in 2006. The Lebanese defense establishment recently arrested a Lebanese military officer with a rank equivalent to lieutenant colonel on suspicions that he passed information to Israel – including photographs and coordinates – which helped it attack targets during the Second Lebanon War.A
