White Dog, hoping to hurry Spring to us, took her new bee stuffie out to the deck to encourage the real insects to get on their job of pollinating the plants in the backyard. She was impatient when I explained that it was still much too cold for the buzzers to be out and about and she grabbed bee and took it on tour all around the yard, stopping to vigorously shake it every few feet in emphasis of her desires.

White Dog tried to rally Michael to her cause when he got home from school. She brought bee inside and laid it at his feet. He did not understand White Dog's command for him to make the bees come, instead he shared with her that the Science Director at school wants to move him into a more advanced Biology Class! White Dog was so proud (as were we all)! It will be a little more challenging but Michael's teacher believes he has the ability and the knowledge base to do well. White Dog gave a yip of congrats as she quickly realized that if he did well in Biology, he would learn more about bees and just maybe he could help in her efforts to make the flowers bloom quicker.
