White Dog really believes today's closure of banks, government offices and no mail delivery is in honor of her Gotcha Day yesterday; not because of President's Day. She knew not to bother watching for the mailman and was unconcerned when Steve did not wake Michael for school this morning. In her egocentric world this is, of course, a day designed to allow one to nap, relax and recuperate from the attention and festivities of yesterday's main event...White Dog's Gotcha celebration! It was especially an opportunity to explore (while lying like Cleopatra on her custom made white afghan) the tasty treats and tennis balls that Richard had brought without having to share with Dragon!
