Sikumi (On the Ice) is a short film shot entirely in Iñupiaq language. It is directed by Iñupiaq filmmaker Andrew Maclean, and it stars Brad Weyiouanna, a graduate of the Alaska Native Language Program at UAF. The film won a jury prize at the 2008 Sundance festival, and it is currently being made into a feature-length film.You can watch Sikumi on YouTube.
