White Dog is in the post-holiday doldrums. After weeks of sparkling wonder and social whirls and brightly wrapped gifts and lots of overeating, things are slowly going back to normal. It is a let down in a way, she says, but she also agrees that the pace was exhausting. All of the new toys have been slobbered on and no longer are squeaky clean. The weather has been kind of ho-hum as well, mostly cold grey and noncommittal. We are just eating "regular dinners." White Dog is filled with ennui and is restless. Steve is back to work. "There is nothing," White Dog says as she throws herself down on the bed pillows, "to do that is interesting. Even the mail is boring!"

Please send healing prayers and energy to our Eskie friend, Mack, of Mack and Sally Ann. Mack is going through some tough physical complications right now and could sure use the extra support of our Circle of Paws. Reach out and let him and his family know we care! Thanks so much.
