White Dog sighed as Steve backed out of the driveway this morning headed for the office. "I guess it is back to the same old boring routine," she muttered and jumped up to cuddle on the arm of my chair. Her eyes were just getting heavy with thoughts of a post-breakfast nap when her Eskie radar detected a visitor and she sprang into high alert! The utilities inspector finished parking his truck, got out, gathered his hat and materials and made his way to our door. He was here to do the final test of our solar panel system and if we passed he would activate the system! We passed...and are now "live"! The electric meter is now happily spinning backward!! White Dog insisted we call Steve and share the news; first thing when he got home for lunch Steve and Supervisor White Dog went out back to high five and watch the meter turn. When they came in they reported that we had already earned nearly one dollar!
