TIME TO SACK BAD JUDGES?

Bad judges should be sacked if we are not to become a fascist state run by child abusing Nazis?

Melchior Wathelet was the top judge who released Marc Dutroux from prison in 1991. (Melchior Wathelet; Jersey)

He was not sacked.

Wathelet became Belgium's judge at the European Court of Justice.

Judge Connerotte was the judge who caught Dutroux.

The authorities removed Connerotte from the Dutroux case.

Are some of our judges a bunch of evil fascists?

Innocent men from Britain were tortured by the Americans in Guantanamo.

The men are suing the British spy agencies, and government ministers, for unlawful acts, negligence and conspiracy.

Now a British judge, Mr Justice Silber, has agreed with the spies that "secret government information" can remain hidden from people who are suing them.

Some of the top people are freemasons.

According to the Daily Mail (Ruling sees Britain take another step towards 'secret' justice. ):

On 18 November 2009, "Britain took another lurch towards 'secret' justice ... when it was ruled the State can for the first time withhold evidence from people involved in civil cases.

"The decision means claimants will be left unaware of the evidence the police, Government or security services are using to ruin their name or contest a case for damages.

"Lawyers described Justice Silber's ruling as a 'constitutional outrage' that overturns 'the whole history of the fundamental principle that both sides must be on an equal footing'."

Silber's ruling has outraged lawyers for the Guantánamo victims. (Judge allows secret services to hide evidence in civil lawsuits )

Louise Christian said:

"The judge has sanctioned ... a constitutional outrage, allowing government to rely on secret evidence in the ordinary civil courts …

"(he has done this) by treating the issue as if it was a purely technical legal matter, not a question of overturning the whole history of the common law and the fundamental principle that both sides must be on an equal footing."

Lawyer Irene Nembhard said:

The judgment would "wipe away the right to a jury trial for such claimants bringing such claims".

Clive Stafford Smith, director of the legal charity Reprieve, said:

"When the history books are written, the darkest chapter of our current times will not be torture, but the seeping evil of secrecy, where the 'national interest' is conflated with 'national embarrassment', and ultimately anything of which the government is ashamed, from parliamentary expenses and working up to torture, becomes secret."

Mr Justice Silber (Outrage over veil of secrecy for a brutal triple killer and his imminent release.)

Former shadow home secretary David Davis said the latest ruling was part of a 'very, very worrying slippery slope' towards secret hearings.

Amnesty International campaigns director Tim Hancock said: 'This ruling means that alleged complicity by the UK authorities is likely to remain hidden, possibly forever.
