This is the necklace I will wear for the Recommitment Ceremony. Mom has to straighten out the ribbons yet so they lay properly...but I wanted you all to see how beautiful Hana's mom made it for our Special Day.
White Dog always runs to her perch to greet the mailman as he drops our mail through the slot. Then, after she is sure he is gone, White Dog cautiously goes over and sniffs what was left to make sure no mail bombs or Trojan horses have been delivered. She never takes any mail or tears up envelopes...OK, except for that one Iams flyer we got with the scratch and sniff circle of their newest flavor! I was a little surprised when White Dog came trotting into the computer room carrying an envelope gently in her mouth. I didn't have to tell her to "Bring It!" or to "Drop It!" She simply was delivering it to me. It was postmarked from the U.K. I looked at White Dog and she at me...then together we opened the envelope. It was the most beautiful Happy Recommitment Celebration card from Ginger Jasper and his family! Their thoughtfulness touched me. White Dog said, "You are not going to get all teary, are you?" I shook my head "No," but my eyes were glistening. Our ceremony is going to be sooooo perfect I said, already there is such a wonderful web of love and celebration surrounding us. "I know," said White Dog, a little thickly herself. "If this keeps up I am going to have to rethink my opinion about the entire cat world!"
