White Dog got up early and went running at the Park with Steve. It is one of her regular pleasures that she seldom forfeits. After breakfast, she gave Steve a kiss goodbye and saw him off from her perch. FINALLY peace and quiet enough for a nap! The weekend full of supervising left her exhausted and this was to be a day of leisure. She headed to the bed where the morning sun pours onto the covers and makes a warm drowsy place to nest and nap. I didn't see her again until I called, "Dad's home for lunch!" White Dog came out stretching and yawning to share some chicken jerky for a mid day refresher...and to grab a little loving. Then out to the deck for some afternoon lounging. Even the mailman was sensitive enough to come late in the afternoon so as to not interrupt her rest. By the time Steve came home White Dog was recharged and up for a rousing game of bait...and for supervising Steve's exercise time.
