Aww, this is sad news to this Corrie fan. Just when we were singing her praises and hoping for more of Corrie's Kelly on the telly, actress Tupele Dorgu reveals she's leaving Coronation Street after five years.The official Corrie site reports that Tupele will leave the cobbles when her current contract ends early next year. Her character Kelly will find herself caught up in factory politics before her exit, when she catches the eye of the new Nick Tilsley.
Speaking about her decision to leave the show, Tupele said: "I feel privileged to have been part of such an iconic show for five years and I am grateful to everyone at Coronation Street for the opportunities I have been given. I have however decided to leave the show and am very excited about seeking new challenges and opportunities within the industry."
