Competition in HD Sensors is Heating Up

Digitimes: HD image sensor competition between Aptina, Samsung and OmniVision is expected to lower prices and boost demand from camcorder and notebook applications in 2010. Aptina was the first to kick off HD sensor production, Samsung started such production in July 2009 and OmniVision will do so in September 2009.
