An internal army report has given a more threatening assessment of China's military expansion than was publicly stated in the defence white paper, warning bluntly that it could "destabilise" the region.
The report, obtained by The Weekend Australian, also makes more hawkish comments about India's military ambitions than Defence has admitted.

My Comment: Reports on possible future Chinese/Indian military conflicts always makes the media run every few years. This is no exception.
Should it be taken seriously .... not for now. For China and India to be a major player on the scene .... we are talking mega-billions of dollars and decades of development. Most of us will be long gone if such a scenario should ever become reality .... which I doubt.
