I wondered (hoped) that perhaps it was a joke or a public service-type campaign in Britain to draw attention to nutrition and health. It appears to be a real family.
Yesterday 19-year-old Emma Chawner (above) was interviewed on a live phone-in radio program on Victoria Derbyshire's BBC Radio; she complained about not being given a chance in the job market because of her weight.
At that point, a listener phoned in and offered her a security job on the spot - "she rejected it out of hand, explaining that she 'didn't want to stand on a door watching people go in'."
