Tensions Rise Before North Korean Rocket Launch

North Korea is planning to fire off a big rocket next month. Will the American military try to shoot the thing down?

Pyongyang says the launch -- due to go off some time between the 4th and 8th of April -- is designed to put a communications satellite into orbit. The rest of the world (including the U.S.) suspects its real purpose is to serve as a long-rang ballistic missile test. You'll recall that Iran's recent satellite launch was interpreted in much the same way.
