From Latin American Herald Tribune:BOGOTA -- The army killed five Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia, or FARC, guerrillas, including the group's finance chief in Tolima province, over the weekend near the central city of Ataco, a military spokesman said.
Pablo Dario Malambo, who was in charge of the FARC's financial operations in the central province, and four of his bodyguards were killed, 6th Brigade commander Col. Jose Dumar Giraldo said, adding that two other rebels were captured.
Soldiers surprised the guerrillas as they were making plans for attacks in the Ataco area, Dumar said.
