U.S. Army To Give Raven Digital Datalink -- Defense News

The U.S. Army plans to equip its Raven UAVs with a digital datalink so that more aircraft can fly in a given combat area, said Army unmanned aerial systems project manager Col. Greg Gonzalez.

"We are buying 50 new Ravens and retrofitting 200 [of the Army's current 375-plus] which we will start fielding in early 2010," Gonzalez said.
