TYWKIWDBI does not "do" celebrities, but I just couldn't pass this up. I remember encountering The Electric Company occasionally in the 1970s (as an adult); it was a counterpart of Sesame Street targeted at slightly older children, and designed to improve reading skills.

Among the original cast members was the "Easy Reader" (for knowledgeable adults the name was a parody of a recent movie). Recognize him? He portrayed a very "hip" young black reading enthusiast...
