Bollywood beauty Ayesha Dharker will join Coronation Street as Tara Mandal, daughter of Prem, who's a big noise in carpets. When Dev meets Tara he'll be smitten and ends up caught between Tara and her mum Nina.ITV has confirmed that fans will see Ayesha on screen in September.
Bombay-born Ayesha has also appeared in Star Wars Episode II and Doctor Who.
