White Dog heard the sounds of Milo's restlessness through the closed door--things getting knocked over; Milo's tail rasping across the floor; the "thump" of failed leaps. When Milo started scratching at the door and trying to stick her head under, White Dog and I agreed that Milo needed a little "out" time to explore. Milo wandered into the bathroom and spent a lot of energy trying to climb into the bath tub. She sat in the hallway just watching White Dog who was keeping watch over her. We went to supervise Milo when she roamed into the bedroom; mostly we wanted to keep her from the dog door and my medical equipment. White Dog was upset when Milo refused her polite request to get out of her toy box. We finally herded Milo back to her room. The iguana protested with much head bobbing and tail lashing. Once Milo was on a window perch we closed the office door, and White Dog took a much needed post-supervisory nap.
