Well, my trip ended appropriately, with a layover in Raleigh-Durham that was just long enough to watch the tournament selection show with the 2,000 ACC fans who were crowded around the tv in the airport bar (How 'bout them Horns? And them BEARS?). Then, of course, I was seated in the midst of four unaccompanied minors. About 30 minutes before we landed, I felt a big clunk on my shoulder. It was the very asleep head of the very asleep eleven-year-old boy, slumping over with exhaustion, his brother passed out beside him.
